A very old friend of Husband, and a very dear friend to both of us, recently surrendered his life to Jesus. He emailed a testimony to Husband the night it happened – several weeks ago now. (And I was twice impressed ’cause he’s a bit of a wordsmith himself.) Husband – with his permission – posted it to his blog with a short bit of background info.

We all know those people that seem like they’ll never give in, or never get it, or never pause long enough to give their Creator and Lover the time of day. Let this encourage you, ’cause John was one of those people. For five or six years since Husband and John parted ways, Husband wasn’t even very sure John was alive somewhere.

The night we got this email from John we were talking about other hardened loved ones and Husband kept saying, “That’s nothing. John Clark is saved – Satan quit.”

It’s true – with God all things are possible. Who are you praying for? Who is the hardest heart you love? Who is that one that seems almost too far? Leave a name or relationship in the comments, and let’s all share each others’ burden. My faith for the prodigals has sky-rocketed; I want to pray for yours too!
